Microwave Radiometer Calibrations

Microwave radiometer instruments require regular calibration. The K-band is calibrated using a TIP calibration, which is done approximately every 3 weeks and is applied remotely. The V-band is calibrated using a liquid nitrogen calibration. This must be done on site, and so is completed about once every 6 months. The dates of sensor calibrations are listed below.
